Professor Jodie Copley

    Professor Jodie Copley is Head of Occupational Therapy at The University of Queensland, Fellow of the Occupational Therapy Australia Research Academy and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Jodie has conducted research into various aspects of neuro-rehabilitation of the upper limb, including development of expertise, individualized clinical reasoning, splinting and casting. She is co-author of the book Neurorehabilitation of the Upper Limb Across the Lifespan (2014), has published over 100 journal articles and has 35 years’ clinical experience working with children and adults with brain injury. Jodie has delivered continuing professional development in hypertonicity management for the past 30 years across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Canada, the U.S.A and Latin America.
