Dr Ken Niere

Ken is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 35 years of clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of spinal disorders.
His research and clinical focus is on the diagnosis and management of headaches and neck disorders, including neck/arm pain and whiplash. He has lectured on these topics in Australia and overseas and has become regarded as a headache and cervical spine specialist physiotherapist.
As a senior lecturer in Physiotherapy at La Trobe University and now a casual academic at The University of Queensland, Ken has taught spinal musculoskeletal physiotherapy at undergraduate and postgraduate levels since 1989. He is an examiner for the Australian College of Physiotherapists and, in addition to numerous publications in peer reviewed journals, has contributed to and co-edited a multidisciplinary text – Headache, Orofacial Pain and Bruxism.
