Dr Andrea McGlade

MBBS FRACP PhD candidate | Developmental Paediatrician, Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitation Research Centre

Dr Andrea McGlade is a developmental paediatrician interested in very early developmental trajectories. Her PhD investigates the child developmental outcomes of a pre-emptive intervention (ENACT) for infants at high familial likelihood of autism, for which she developed the early social reciprocity component of the intervention with Dr Koa Whittingham. Central to her thesis and ENACT intervention is a detailed neurocognitive model that explains the developmental sequence to autism and ADHD.
