Dr Aimie Peek

Dr Aimie Peek is an advanced practice physiotherapist from the UK. She has worked clinically for over 18 years in a variety of extended scope and specialist roles in both private and public sectors. Dr Peek was awarded her PhD at the University of Sydney investigating brain neurochemistry in headache and pain conditions. Her research uses advanced brain imaging combined with clinical assessments to elude mechanisms underpinning migraine and other pain conditions. Dr Peek has collaborated with the world’s leading researchers in pain and neuroscience and has developed clinical guidelines, critical appraisal tools and reporting guidelines. Currently, Dr Peek is a lecturer at the University Sydney, whilst continuing to practice privately with a specialist interest in treating headaches and neck pain. Her approach aims to bridge the gap between neuroscience and clinical practice to improve patient outcomes.
