Associate Professor Ben Darlow

Ben is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Specialist working in private practice in Wellington, New Zealand and Associate Professor in the Department of Primary Health Care and General Practice at the University of Otago Wellington. Ben’s key research interests are the assessment and measurement of health beliefs, consideration of how these have been influenced and the impact that these have on well-being, and designing, testing, and implementing interventions to improve knowledge, primary health care delivery, and outcomes. Ben’s musculoskeletal research has focused on low back pain and osteoarthritis. He also has led research projects evaluating interprofessional education interventions.
