Clinical decision-making for upper limb hypertonicity management

This workshop will focus on the key assessment and clinical reasoning principles that allow individualisation of an intervention package for clients with upper limb hypertonicity due to neurological conditions.

It will have a particular focus on the use of splints and casts as important components of the repertoire of interventions available, and will consider the research evidence for these interventions as well as practical techniques that underpin successful client outcomes.
