Associate Professor Vince Kelly

Vince Kelly is an Associate Professor at the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences, Queensland University of Technology, specialising in strength and conditioning and sport science research. He has authored over 90 peer-reviewed papers and five book chapters covering various aspects of sport performance, strength and conditioning, recovery, and sport nutrition.
With more than two decades of experience in elite sport, he has collaborated with professional football teams, the Australian Institute of Sport, the Queensland Academy of Sport, and individual athletes.
Vince’s research interests encompass a broad spectrum of topics crucial to athlete performance, including fatigue and recovery, strength and conditioning in high-performance sport, mental fatigue, training load management, mental health, and the physiological effects of exercise.
