Injections masterclass for podiatrists

This workshop is designed to improve the practical skills required for injections of the foot and ankle. Injection therapy is an important part of foot and ankle management – as local anaesthesia for procedural work, as a diagnostic tool to support complex (sometimes confusing) imaging results and therapeutically.

This workshop will build on your existing anatomical, clinical and pharmacological knowledge to give you confidence to use injection therapy on a more regular basis. Specifically, we will focus on nerve anatomy, anaesthesia, and therapeutic and diagnostic injections as well as joint pathologies and injection therapy. Volunteers will be required for the best learning outcomes to be achieved in this workshop.

Please note, endorsed prescribers are invited to stay for an extra class (11am-12pm) exploring medications and injections included in their advanced scope of practice.
