Asssociate Professor Leanne Bisset

Leanne’s professional background as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist has led to a research focus that aims to improve our understanding of treatment effects and the mechanisms underpinning individual responses to treatment in people with chronic musculoskeletal pain of the upper limb. Leanne has over 70 publications (h-index 25; >2,300 citations) in many top-ranking journals in Sports Medicine, Rheumatology and Orthopaedics. She has recently taken up a position as Associate Editor for the Journal of Musculoskeletal Science and Practice, in addition to her full-time work at Griffith University as Associate Professor in Physiotherapy. Leanne actively promotes the translation of research into clinical practice through delivery of 1- and 2-day workshops on the Complex Elbow around Australia and abroad.
